Chandrababu Naidu today formally declared June 4 as ‘Praja Teerpu Dinam’ or ‘People’s Verdict Day’, commemorating the resounding mandate delivered by citizens in the 2024 state assembly elections. The day symbolizes a pivotal shift in the state’s political landscape, delivering a historic judgment on governance and promising a renewed era of welfare and development. Echoing the sentiment, Pawan Kalyan, leader of Jana Sena and Deputy CM, called on Andhra Pradesh to celebrate June 4 like Sankranti or Diwali—a festival of democracy and public pride In Vijayawada, traditional celebrations, including rangoli and public gatherings, underscored the unity between leadership and citizens,  A key pillar in this political renaissance has been the TDP MLA network. These elected representatives have played a crucial role in translating party promises into tangible action. Following their 2024 victory, many MLAs have initiated development drives—ranging from infrastructure upgrades to welfare scheme rollouts—in their respective constituencies. For instance, Palla Srinivasa Rao, elected from Gajuwaka, not only emerged as an influential voice in the assembly, but his active involvement in opposing the privatization of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and efforts in public welfare earned him praise as “the People’s Leader” Across constituencies, TDP MLA champions have led water supply restoration, road development, and educational support initiatives, reinforcing their commitment to public aspirations. Reinforcing their governance mandate, the TDP party has undertaken a vigorous push to fulfill key promises. Chief Minister Naidu reaffirmed his pledge to launch targeted welfare schemes and accelerate development over the remaining term.
